He never pressured us to do it, but gave us his recommendation. He made us feel very welcome and confident that the work would be done correctly and in a timely manner. Requested a service appointment online. Never received confirmation (after requesting the appt the email received said I would receive feed back with 30 minutes after office opened the next day). Called the location (26959 US Highway 281N San Antonio), was told by Derick my appointment was not confirmed, because they were very busy. The wait would be an hour to an hour and half. In reality it only took 45 minutes. What good is an appointment system if you can't schedule an appointment.Secondly, after I received my receipt for the oil change service performed, it said on the receipt:"Full Synthetic oil changee Viscoity 5W-30.Alternative, if OW-20 Synthetic oil is not available, 5W-30 conventional oil may be used if you need to add oil. You should change to OW-20 Synthetic oil at the next oil change"So my question is did I get OW-20 Synthetic oil with my oil change - because the receipt says 5W-30?

I took my vehicle in to get a diagnostic. Was quoted 29.99 which I was aware of. After taking the vehicle and seeing it was a 4x4 (says in the back of vehicle like all 4x4s) I was quoted $660 for a transfer case tear down because vechile is 4x4. I paid 29.

You do what needs to be done. This car is a 2005 and my daughter drives at college and it has always been maintained by Doug and his people since I bought it.

Got new brake rotors and pads from Amazon and self installed. Rotors were out of round. Midas charged normal nominal fee to turn down rotors. brakes work great. Always fair...never excessive. The best auto repair I've ever used.

Very satisfactory service. Worked vehicle into a busy schedule and found no tie rod issue where one was diagnosed by another shop. Driving, steering and tire wear also indicate no issue. I will continue to watch for problems but potentially saved several hundred dollars.
