Last month I got visited Midas in Fredericksburg for to change brake pads/rotors they charge me more than 800$ that’s fine but at that time it show ABS and ECS on dashboard before it doesn’t show any sign on dashboard . I’ll ask them they told me it gonna be remove after some days. Till month it doesn’t remove I’ll then I’ll visited to Midas of Richmond now they charge me 570$ for removing that ABS sign on dashboard. Conclusion is You guys made issue and You guys solve issue. This is not fair worst service

The associates communicated very well and the particular services I wanted were readily available. All the scheduling options were clearly explained. The actual services were done in a reasonable time and the mechanic explained what was done.

I had my mother who uses a walker with me. We were made to feel welcomed. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the business. The inspection of my car was done in a great timeframe. There was one issue that needed to be taken care of in order to pass inspection. This was fixed quickly. There was one additional item found during the review of my car. That issue was shown to me and discussed solutions.

I encounter a very sluggish battery/start that day with company from out of state depending on the car. We drove immediately to Midas and asked if they could help. They did. Very thankful.

They fixed my flat tyre. It was not available at the store and I needed my vehicle. So found at some other store, picked it up and fixed my car. All in less than 3 hrs. They went over and beyond of what was needed of them

As a first time customer I was blown away with how friendly and accommodating the staff was. I stopped in on a Sunday with a short turn around time to fix my problem. They took my keys and gave me a rental and said don’t worry. I had to leave 2 days later to go out of town and they said take the rental. The customer service is top notch.

I brought my truck in for service because the dealership said I needed new rear brake shoes. Midas techs did an inspection first and saw that I still had plenty of life left on my existing brakes.I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism from the techs at Midas.

I brought the vehicle in for inspection and was notified that several items failed, which I expected. The headlights in particular. Both high beams were out and the lenses showed severe oxidation. The mechanic's first and only remedy option was to replace both headlight kits at a cost to me of over $1,400.00!! I declined the service and proceeded to research lower-cost options. I purchased a headlight restoration kit ($30) and new bulbs (~$100 for the 4). It took me <1hr to buff the lenses and 20 min in total to replace the bulbs. A total cost to me of $130 and less than 1.5 man hours. Why wasn't this presented as an option? The mechanic indicated that there was "significant degradation of the internal reflectors" which was the main reason that the "entire assembly needed replacement." Please explain how this was determined when the oxidation on the lens was so bad that you couldn't even see through it. I should be able to trust my mechanic blindly and know that they are looking out for my best interests (both from a safety and financial standpoint). In this case, that trust has been severely eroded.

Every time I call or walk in, I never waited longer at all. And every time I go, for any service, I ask for a loaner car, and they give me one. You don't get such an experience in any bigger showrooms, dealerships where they do service too. They call me with details of the problem, costs that may incur and my choice to make. At the same time, explains which is necessary, which may wait and all the options. Not to mention, being very courteous.

Midas in Short Pump, VA has been my auto service shop for many years. They have always been extremely courteous and prompt in their service. They have been extremely honest. For example, they tell me when I need repairs, but also tell me when I will need repairs or replacements (tires, for example) in the future. If they were not honest, they could have told me that I needed the repair or replacement immediately.I also appreciate the loaner cars!!! I have been having my car(s) serviced at this Midas for years and will go nowhere else. The staff is friendly, they explain what's going on, give a loaner vehicle when necessary. Nothing but good things to say!

As in the past, I called with a unique situation and in this case it was a punctured tire of my daughters Jeep. It was a Saturday and I am at my shop till 2:30 PM but the service person was kind and said if I could possibly get the tire to them by 3:00, that it would be no problem to get it repaired. I was able to get home, remove the tire and get it to you all. They called and let me know it was done. Love the attention to detail.

I had to return to this location due to the lug nuts being installed to high of a torque setting. I struggled to remove the lug nuts with a power tool.

They were quick to diagnose the problem with my brakes and communicated it well. I know next to nothing about cars, so they were pretty up front with what was wrong and how much it was going to cost. They also noticed a problem with my serpentine belt, which I never would’ve known was having issues if they hadn’t told me.

I found I could trust you with my car.

This particular Midas I use is always accommodating and efficient from scheduling the appointment, and working with me when I had to reschedule, and very professional and trustworthy! Matt kept me updated and explained what I needed and options available to me. I thought the price for all the work I needed done, including an inspection that I did not realize had expired, was incredibly reasonable! I have had experiences at two other companies that don’t even compare to the exceptional work done by Midas and their staff!

Always satisfied with the work done, the customer service interactions, explanations etc. Prices are a bit higher than I'd like to pay, but I always know it's done well and right.

I made an online appointment for 7:30-9:30am and dropped vehicle off the night before. By noon the next day, vehicle still in Midas lot. Not sure what the point of an appt. is if it's not honored by staff. We had things to do that day and did not get the car back until 3:00. Quote on the brakes was accurate, but didn't understand the $50+ in shop supplies. If that's standard, might as well include in the quote.

Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I had service at another Midas location several months before this - NONE of the issues were mentioned that were brought up at the inspection. THe price provided was high and I found the same services for half the cost at another shop. I felt taken advantage of as a female. I have previously tried to support this business as you back to the community but never again. Matt was terrible and inaccurate in his pricing. I will not be returning and have told others not to go there either.

I bought my tires at Midas, which supposedly means I get free tire rotations. But I got charged for tire rotation, but didn’t notice until I left the shop.Secondly, and this happens every time I go there… there are black shoe scuff marks on my floor board (?). The panel by my feet when you open the door. They should spray and wipe when done. Frustrating for someone who keeps their car clean.

This location saved my life and my trip! During a move from Georgia to Pennsylvania I suffered a total power failure while leaving dinner. The culprit looked like an alternator but I needed to swap the battery just to roll it into the parking lot. From my late night Saturday online appointment request to an early morning Sunday call from the manager explaining their schedule, I was treated with empathy and respect. My eventual diagnosis was a shredded alternator belt, much less than I was dreading. My trip was saved and this location humbled me with their service and dedication. Was able to make an appointment in a very timely manner. Loved the digital (text) update with photos of equipment needing replacement. Inspection was rejected, so I had to bring the car back, once the issue was resolved. Brought it in without appointment, and technician was able to get me in and out within an hour. Very pleased with that turnaround, especially considering the high volume of customers.

Extremely friendly employees and on point with overall experience, professionalism and of course the work the mechanics perform. Top notch all the way.

Immediately after I paid for my oil change, I remembered that I had a free oil change coupon in my car. The service rep said he was unable to change the transaction and apply the coupon. I get that I screwed up and should have presented the coupon in the first place, but I felt really frustrated that the rep wasn’t able to help me with this in that moment, given that I had literally just paid and had the coupon in hand.

I have already been happy with the experience. Safety is first in their recommended for service but not just trying to up sell repairs. We trust Mark with all our car service ever though we are not as local as we used to be. Just good people.

I was very pleased with how quickly a Midas associate called me when I attempted to schedule my appointment online. I also appreciated how quickly the staff got me in and out of the shop, as I was waiting on site. The mechanic who performed the service work was very informative and not pushy about trying to sign me up for services I didn't need. My visit was for a state inspection and oil change and nothing more. I keep track of the maintenance for my vehicle and know what I do and don't need. At other service centers ... it's been my experience that mechanics (who are also men), seem to think a woman can't monitor her own vehicle's maintenance schedule. I appreciate greatly that the mechanic didn't make the obvious stereotypical assumptions. Thank you so much! I WILL be returning to this location!

I've been coming to Midas since I bought my first car back in 2005. I will never use another service station so long as Midas is an option.

You over charge for your service and apparently rly over incentive your service techs to find problems. Had the work done for 1/2 the price elsewhere. Had I known my son was taking his vehicle to your shop I would have instructed him to go elsewhere. Amazingly I stopped gave major issues with the fj when I stopped taking it to your shop for service. I would say you are at least 40% higher than your competitors. In this instance you were double.

I feel like the price if my oil change was outrageous. In the past I have paid $75 or even $85 but $106 is unacceptable. I had no idea it was going to be that expensive.

I have a repair place I always take my cars to so I probably won't bring my own vehicles back, I sort of ended up here on accident, but I had a pleasant experience and was happy with the service so I would recommend them to others.

Midas services our 5 vehicles. This was only a state inspection and they replaced a burned out bulb so we passed. They made everything very easy as they always do.

I got an oil change and state inspection. The oil change was free and the inspection price is set by the state. There were no price surprises. I like the fact they explain issues that are not critical but I will eventually need to fix. I don’t feel pressured, just informed. I trust these guys and I also like that the owner, Mark Smith, is involved with the community. And while I never used the service, it’s nice that they have loaner vehicles available.

The pricing for an oil change and tire rotation was over $160.00 with a supposed discount.

I have been taking my cars to Midus West Broad St for many years. They have always treated me like family. Extremely professional and explain what is going on with my vehicle in terms I am easily able to understand. The entire staff is very friendly and will take the time to listen and offer advise. I am so comfortable with them and fully trust their findings and service/ repairs. They go out of their way to make sure my experience with them is a pleasurable experience.

I had a great experience at the Midas in Short Pump, VA. My car ended up needing a lot more work than was first thought, however Brad communicated everything with me and got my car back to me on the same day.

The level of detail provided in explaining the recommended services (included photos) and the awesome staff that I talked to during my visit. Great group! The waiting room was super clean and well taken care of for customers.

Been going there for years and they re comprehensive nd through. More specifically they will find other issues with your car while doing the oil change but will never go ahead with unimproved repairs or filter, fluid replacements without consent

I have stopped at Midas with an issue and did not have an appointment several times and they have taken care of me right away. They are always easy to deal with and very accommodating. A very good business.

When I walked in the lady at the reception welcomed me with a smile and asked what she may help me with. I have an exhaust leak and wanted to make an appointment but she said a technician can take a look at it in about 20 minutes so I waited and it was checked and fixed within a couple hours. That was exceptional service.

Took the car in for oil leak on a Monday as scheduled. work did not begin until Thursday. Oil leak not identified until the following Wednesday. Completing this survey on Sunday and sitll dont have the car back. Hope to get it back this week - third week after dropping off.

It was easy to book online. I put in my request thinking I wouldn’t hear from anyone for 24 hours, but I received a text with appointment time early Saturday morning. Completely unexpected! Check-in was easy and quick and I had my vehicle within 90 minutes on an obviously very busy Saturday. Assosicatea we’re friendly and professional.

It did not take a lot to explain what my problem was and the associate immediately explained how long the service will take and in less than 5 minutes my car was brought to their work area and as promised the job was done in a little time.

Every time I visit, I get to pay at least $1000 besides regular service. Which comes due to car's age and depreciation. But sometimes it also makes me feel like I should have second opinion from elsewhere which I could not do or get. The associates are so friendly and understanding my concerns and situations but still at the end, I end up paying large money for an aged car which I could have sold, and/or could 2nd opinion.

The check in was quick, Amanda had me out in a courtesy car within minutes of arriving. Mark called me during the service to update me, and within an hour my car was ready for pickup. Outstanding Incredible Customer Service

You helped durian emergency

I dropped my car off at 8:00 AM and never received a call. I had to call at 5:00 and see what was happening with my car. If I drop off something at 8:00, I should receive a call before noon, regardless of whether the car can be completed that day or not. The same thing happened the next day. I also hesitate to call myself. Why can't the person who answers the call inquire about the car? Instead, the repair person comes to the phone which takes them away from their work. I know they are more knowledgeable about what is going on with the car but the front desk could just ask about the status of the car without the technician having to come to the phone every time. I did appreciate the loaner car while mine was being fixed.

All my concerns were taken care of with my car and the Midas personnel were very friendly and professional!

The front counter girls were knowledgeable and highly accommodating. The garage '' manager" explained to me very clearly what had to be done and why and gave me options that were safe and in my family and cars best interest!
