Had flat tire about three blocks away. Limped in snd they took my car and gave me a loaner to continue on to take my husband to his doctors appointment. Always good friendly helpful service over the last several years on my last three cars.
With the engine check light came the need to replace thermostat kit. This took ordering; however, I had a loaner.
Only issue was the Service Required Message was not reset and it still keeps coming on every time I start the car. I did specifically mention at check-in that it had kept coming on with the wrong service interval info at check-in. I had previously tried unsuccessfully to reset it myself using the information I found on line. I didn't notice it until I started the car the next day. I live in Midlothian and didn't want to drive all the way back to Short Pump just to get it reset. Otherwise, no complaints.
Reliability and trust! Taking my car there is always a positive experience. My tire had a large screw embedded in it. I had my car towed on a Sunday and left it in the lot, hoping Midas could repair it on Monday. It was completed before 1:00 p.m. - no questions asked. The price was fair. The service outstanding. The woman who checked me out was delightful. Thanks to all!

Tires not ordered with a week notice. Water pump installed and would not hold coolant so service couldn’t be completed on Saturday. Tech and Brad were off on Sunday so had to get a loaner car and move all my work equipment into loaner get stuff out of my truck and work out of the loaner …. I work in construction out of my truck which is why I scheduled the service over the weekend.

I realized I had a slow leak in my tire on Saturday. I scheduled an appointment online that night for Sunday and was able to drop it off the next day and get a courtesy car. Diagnosing squeaks can be difficult and labor intensive. However, Midas identified and corrected the squeaks for a very fair price.

Last month I got visited Midas in Fredericksburg for to change brake pads/rotors they charge me more than 800$ that’s fine but at that time it show ABS and ECS on dashboard before it doesn’t show any sign on dashboard . I’ll ask them they told me it gonna be remove after some days. Till month it doesn’t remove I’ll then I’ll visited to Midas of Richmond now they charge me 570$ for removing that ABS sign on dashboard. Conclusion is You guys made issue and You guys solve issue. This is not fair worst service

I had my mother who uses a walker with me. We were made to feel welcomed. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the business. The inspection of my car was done in a great timeframe. There was one issue that needed to be taken care of in order to pass inspection. This was fixed quickly. There was one additional item found during the review of my car. That issue was shown to me and discussed solutions.

They fixed my flat tyre. It was not available at the store and I needed my vehicle. So found at some other store, picked it up and fixed my car. All in less than 3 hrs. They went over and beyond of what was needed of them
As a first time customer I was blown away with how friendly and accommodating the staff was. I stopped in on a Sunday with a short turn around time to fix my problem. They took my keys and gave me a rental and said don’t worry. I had to leave 2 days later to go out of town and they said take the rental. The customer service is top notch.

When I set up my appointment, Julie, the Midas rep I spoke with was very helpful, reassuring me I would be able to have the car back when requested as long as there were any unexpected issues. The car was serviced early and I was able to pick it up as requested.
Vehicle ready sooner than I expected. All parts were available for my tire sensor issue .plus got 4 new tires and alignment.

Based on that I prioritized the work I wanted done & they completed it within a day. Talking with the technician was helpful in my decision making process. He was not oushy. I brought my truck in for service because the dealership said I needed new rear brake shoes. Midas techs did an inspection first and saw that I still had plenty of life left on my existing brakes.I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism from the techs at Midas.

I brought the vehicle in for inspection and was notified that several items failed, which I expected. The headlights in particular. Both high beams were out and the lenses showed severe oxidation. The mechanic's first and only remedy option was to replace both headlight kits at a cost to me of over $1,400.00!! I declined the service and proceeded to research lower-cost options. I purchased a headlight restoration kit ($30) and new bulbs (~$100 for the 4). It took me <1hr to buff the lenses and 20 min in total to replace the bulbs. A total cost to me of $130 and less than 1.5 man hours. Why wasn't this presented as an option? The mechanic indicated that there was "significant degradation of the internal reflectors" which was the main reason that the "entire assembly needed replacement." Please explain how this was determined when the oxidation on the lens was so bad that you couldn't even see through it. I should be able to trust my mechanic blindly and know that they are looking out for my best interests (both from a safety and financial standpoint). In this case, that trust has been severely eroded.

Every time I call or walk in, I never waited longer at all. And every time I go, for any service, I ask for a loaner car, and they give me one. You don't get such an experience in any bigger showrooms, dealerships where they do service too. They call me with details of the problem, costs that may incur and my choice to make. At the same time, explains which is necessary, which may wait and all the options. Not to mention, being very courteous.

Midas in Short Pump, VA has been my auto service shop for many years. They have always been extremely courteous and prompt in their service. They have been extremely honest. For example, they tell me when I need repairs, but also tell me when I will need repairs or replacements (tires, for example) in the future. If they were not honest, they could have told me that I needed the repair or replacement immediately.I also appreciate the loaner cars!!! What a lifesaver!!Finally, I appreciate their efforts in supporting the community. As in the past, I called with a unique situation and in this case it was a punctured tire of my daughters Jeep. It was a Saturday and I am at my shop till 2:30 PM but the service person was kind and said if I could possibly get the tire to them by 3:00, that it would be no problem to get it repaired. I was able to get home, remove the tire and get it to you all. They called and let me know it was done. Love the attention to detail.

I had to return to this location due to the lug nuts being installed to high of a torque setting. I struggled to remove the lug nuts with a power tool.
They were quick to diagnose the problem with my brakes and communicated it well. I know next to nothing about cars, so they were pretty up front with what was wrong and how much it was going to cost. They also noticed a problem with my serpentine belt, which I never would’ve known was having issues if they hadn’t told me.
I found I could trust you with my car.

This particular Midas I use is always accommodating and efficient from scheduling the appointment, and working with me when I had to reschedule, and very professional and trustworthy! Matt kept me updated and explained what I needed and options available to me. I thought the price for all the work I needed done, including an inspection that I did not realize had expired, was incredibly reasonable! I have had experiences at two other companies that don’t even compare to the exceptional work done by Midas and their staff!

I made an online appointment for 7:30-9:30am and dropped vehicle off the night before. By noon the next day, vehicle still in Midas lot. Not sure what the point of an appt. is if it's not honored by staff. We had things to do that day and did not get the car back until 3:00. Quote on the brakes was accurate, but didn't understand the $50+ in shop supplies. If that's standard, might as well include in the quote.

Experience has shown that Midas addresses any problems that may arise fairly & Midas stands behind their work. While not priced on the lower end of shops in the area, the factors stated above lead to my continued patronage of this location.

I have been having Midas service my vehicle for many year. Each time, I have been very pleased with the work the technicians have done. Occasionally while performing a certain task, other problems were uncovered. The technicians always showed me what was being done, what it would cost, and whether it was something that could wait for a few months, or needed attention now. I am comfortable knowing that my vehicle is as safe as possible to protect me while traveling.

Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I had service at another Midas location several months before this - NONE of the issues were mentioned that were brought up at the inspection. THe price provided was high and I found the same services for half the cost at another shop. I felt taken advantage of as a female. I have previously tried to support this business as you back to the community but never again. Matt was terrible and inaccurate in his pricing. I will not be returning and have told others not to go there either.
Was able to make a next day appointment for an oil change. Didn’t feel pressure for added services even though other options were explained as to what else might needed to be done in the near future.
I was not happy that Midas was not able to fix the issue and asked me to visit Honda showroom.
I have been going there for years and I always get the same outstanding treatment from both Matt and the girls who work the front. I cannot complain about a thing.

I went for my state inspection and some service was recommended. It was fixed quickly and without too high of a price. The coupon and rebate I was given at check out were icing on the cake. I didn't know there was an option for loaner cars, but that could be very helpful in the future.

I bought my tires at Midas, which supposedly means I get free tire rotations. But I got charged for tire rotation, but didn’t notice until I left the shop.Secondly, and this happens every time I go there… there are black shoe scuff marks on my floor board (?). The panel by my feet when you open the door. They should spray and wipe when done. Frustrating for someone who keeps their car clean.

Oil chang price increased by 33% since last oil change. That is not consistent with current inflation.

I use you guys exclusively for both my vehicles. The loaner car makes it so easy for me since I live 30 miles from town and allows me the ability to drop off and pick up easily. The text messages on progress is wonderful.

This location saved my life and my trip! During a move from Georgia to Pennsylvania I suffered a total power failure while leaving dinner. The culprit looked like an alternator but I needed to swap the battery just to roll it into the parking lot. From my late night Saturday online appointment request to an early morning Sunday call from the manager explaining their schedule, I was treated with empathy and respect. My eventual diagnosis was a shredded alternator belt, much less than I was dreading. My trip was saved and this location humbled me with their service and dedication. I will forever be grateful to Julie and her team for prompt, courteous care and service.

Was able to make an appointment in a very timely manner. Loved the digital (text) update with photos of equipment needing replacement. Inspection was rejected, so I had to bring the car back, once the issue was resolved. Brought it in without appointment, and technician was able to get me in and out within an hour. Very pleased with that turnaround, especially considering the high volume of customers.

Immediately after I paid for my oil change, I remembered that I had a free oil change coupon in my car. The service rep said he was unable to change the transaction and apply the coupon. I get that I screwed up and should have presented the coupon in the first place, but I felt really frustrated that the rep wasn’t able to help me with this in that moment, given that I had literally just paid and had the coupon in hand.
