I do not frequent the area but maybe twice a month, not reason to not return to them for further service unless needed while already visiting. My car was scheduled for a routine oil change. I knew they would give my car a thorough evaluation for anything else that needed service. I have been taking my car to this location for years, probably since at least 2009 with my old car and always have received great service and probably enabled me to keep the car for 13 years.
I was comfortable with the cost of labor, but I happened to see the Advanced Auto receipt for my parts including the 50% discount AA extended to Midas. Midas' cost - $75.00 - was marked-up 300% when re-sold to me: $225.00. I appreciate that all businesses have overhead, but I take issue with this practice. Firestone does not mark-up parts to this degree.

I participated in the painting of the catalytic converter program. My past experience with Midas involved a muffler that I had to get replaced every 18 months. It's too much trouble to keep bringing it in so often when I can just pay more and get a nicer muffler system that will last many years.

Being charged a fee to access my clearly broken and leaking ac unit is wild. $40? No thank you. Being told my total price for rotors and brake pads, $700? Absolutely not. They’ve fixed mine before and it was less than $300. The same rear brakes. and to fix a leaking compressor (the part is under $200) and would take less than 30 minutes to fix, a grand total of $1700. This has been a habitual thing it seems. It’s painful being a woman dropping your car to feel ripped off. I am no longer confident in my relationship with this Midas location. And will not be coming back.

my problem was that I asked how long the service would take and advised thhat I could leave the car overnite if necessary , and I WOULD GET A RENTAL CAR. I had an appointment that I had to make. I was assured it would be ready. When I appeared at the appointed time it was not ready.I took the car, with the work incompleteand had to bring the car in the next day for the wheel alignment. THe mechanic adjusted the bill, which I did not request , but appreciate the effort he made to mitigate the failure to meet the anticipated standard of performance.

I was dissatisfied with the price. This seemed out of line with prices I paid with other vehicles. Then when I did the work myself over the weekend. The Midas technician seemed to have missed the fact the brake pads on the driver side needed to be replaced as well. New personnel didn't seem quite as on top of things as the previous staff.
