I was extremely disappointed to learn I was charged $81.99 for labor to replace a light bulb that cost $9.99. It took less than 10 minutes.
I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and their communication. There was a wait for my parts to be delivered but they explained this to me and were very apologetic about the time the delivery driver took.
They were able to take me with no appointment and I was in and out in less than an hour. Super friendly and explained/went over paperwork with me!
I needed a last minute safety inspection and the garage was able to inspect my vehicle immediately. They were very quick and professional.
I made an appointment for 12pm and I arrived at 11:50. Went inside and my vehicle was in the bay by 12pm. I only had to wait an 1 hour which wasn't that bad for a car repair shop. That's why Midas has been my repair shop for almost 4 years now.

Being the end of the month, inspections are hard to get as a walk in. And they were able to get me in same day and I was out within the hour. Being my car is my income I was very relieved to have my inspection completed.

The maintenance price for a repair where The industry standard is about $400.00 is double at Midas. They do not have much experience with off road vehicle standards and requirements.
I was worried about my vehicle after hitting a really large pothole but the guys at the store were so respectful in taking the time to answer my questions, give me honest answers, great guidance on what my next steps should and did wonderfully on calming my anxiety. They were prompt with time management and clear with setting expectations and using thorough communication. I am so satisfied with my service that I won’t be going anywhere else.
Had car in for oil change and state inspection. Inspection failed due to 2 items. The price to repair was way too expensive. I found another repair shop that offered to do the repairs for lest than half midas price. I am taking the car to Checkered flag to maybe do a trade in and purchase a new car.
I brought my truck in for a state inspection. During the inspection it was discovered I had a bad tire rod. Both the manager and mechanic were very helpful and explained everything to me and showed me the issue. The service was completed quickly and my truck drives good as new.

They were unable to make the repairs that was promised they threw away a perfectly good lightbulb thinking it was defective and charge me for a new bulb and even with the new bulb they were unable to get my light to work he refuse to put back the old bulb because he threw it away even though there was nothing wrong with it and would not give me a discount for the cost of the bulb instead charge me the full amount and gave me a vehicle with a light that would not work I was totally dissatisfied and he was very dishonest I Believe that I will never return there even though I’ve gone there many times throughout the years because I own four vehicles and when it was run by someone else I had better service this time around the service was terrible the mechanics look like they just rolled in from the gutter that is why I will not return there again so all those years that I’ve been going there and had spent thousands of dollars there has come to an end.

I went to your store in Virginia Beach off Virginia Beach Blvd and the technician that serviced my vehicle for a state inspection. Failed my vehicle for reasons he couldn't even explain because after showing me what he said was wrong I didn't see the same thing I asked for further explanation he kept repeating the samething, however another customer that had just had service for a state inspection passed with 7 hits I feel as if the technician didn't no their job or they just wanted money for their store because it didn't seem to have a lot of business. I am very disappointed as I had just saw another customer pass but my truck failed on one hit but the other customer was told his passed and just to get things fixed but he had 7 hits.

You did a brake job on my truck but after the job I had a strange noise coming from the front right tire area, The dealer said it was a heat shield problem put on 2 clamps charge 150.00 and the problem still was there so i took it to Midas and they said to remove the heat shield which we did, I had a heart attack and didn't drive for 3 months but when I did the noise was still there so I took it back to Midas and they found the bake caliper was loose and scraping the tire. The desk clerk Jonathan answered the phone when I called at 1130 am inquiring about an appointment or just same day service and he scheduled me for a 2pm appointment. When I arrived I filled out a form, he took my keys and 20 minutes later I was all done. I had been searching for an appoint for an entire week until he answered the phone and provided some of the best customer service I’d ever received! This will be my go to shop for inspections as long as Jonathan is there!
