Even though the pricing of my service (parts/labour breakdown) were not clearly communicated, I had a price range in mind and this came in under the upper limit. I was also in need of the service so I didn't want to spend much time shopping round. I chose to have the service done and from that moment timing, updates, etc. were clearly communicated. The waiting room was small but very clean. My vehicle was serviced earlier than expected, but the customer service representative (Sean I believe) let my car sit right out front while my 7-year-old daughter and I finished a card game for fifteen more minutes. My car now starts with ease and some of the electrical problems I was having are no longer an issue. Given the proximity to my home, ease of scheduling, and satisfaction with my service, I am likely to visit this establishment again for future car troubles.

Not happy with the second visit with the horn switch, All I needed was a mechanic to put it in and they wanted to charge me 150 dollars to check everything which there isn't anything else wrong a simple installment of a horn switch was all I needed! But price gouging is what these kind of places do best! I contacted a friend of mine that is a master mechanic he's gonna put it in for me for 50 dollars when I told him what happened he was disqusted about what took place! You people just proved money is all your interested in! I'm glad I had a back up plan with my friend!

My tires had a few superficial issues and was marked by the garage without my consent. The markings are permanent so it looks like my brand new car was vandalized which for all intents and purposes it was by this garage.

I didn't like the CSR attitude towards me. I presented a coupon that was sent to me was told it wasn't for me. So I asked what was the point and sending it. Told him to trash it because I don't need it and he gave me an attitude about it.
I have been coming to this Midas for over a year for regular maintenance, and every single visit, there is always a new problem with my car. I understand that there is normal wear and tear with vehicles, but if they are doing the 'regular inspection' checks like they claim to do, then how does one level of my car go from green(acceptable/good) to red(poor/needs replacement) in a matter of months. And when asked about how or why something like this happens, I receive no proper information or communication from the technician or associate. In addition to that, I feel as though services that I pay for aren't even being provided. My last oil change was speedy (done in around 20 minutes) which was great, but when I got my car back, there wasn't even a 'next visit/next oil change sticker' inside. Just the previous one still stuck in the window so it left me unsure of if the task was even complete. What I did receive after that visit, was a price quote for work I needed to get done on my vehicle. Work that I also, had already paid hundreds for, have 'done' a few months prior. Overall, I feel like this entire location does nothing but try to scam innocent customers.

I had brake pads and rotors changed last April itself and was told they need to be replaced again because of uneven wear out - charged 300$ for labor and parts. Feel like a rip off, because these parts easily last over 25K miles.
I called and made an appointment for an oil change at 4:30 in the afternoon and they scheduled me for 8:30 the next morning. They started the oil change as soon as I arrived and the whole process took less than 40 minutes. Very expeditious and professional service.

Had an oil change and filter plus tire rotation done. They also did a courtesy check on my vehicle. Their response in handling my request was immediate. Everyone was professional and courteous and the turn-around was very speedy.
Midas in Newark did a thorough job of diagnosing and repairing the intake manifold gaskets. Chris at Midas was especially helpful and knowledgeable, even putting the truck up on a lift to specifically point out where the coolant was leaking and what work would need to be done.
I had an oil change done there and they get you in and out.
