Terrible services. As per usual they find something wrong, present an over priced quote and then take hours to complete the tire change when I said no to the other fixes, I even suggested they just pack up my tires and send the vehicle home with me and I would deal with it later.Complete rip off. When I mentioned the price at another mechanic (which was less than half, I confirmed that price at two other locations) the owner was full of excuses and then continued to berate me. Horrible zero stars. Never again not even for a tire sale I’ll give my money to someone who’s not a thief

Don't take customers cars out without asking if they would like to come too. My newer car was gone an hour + was driven very poorly. I could tell by how dirty it was when the mechanic returned. I took pictures. I was there 4 hours for an oil change + transmission change. I brought my car in spotless, then had to go to car wash as soon as I left Midas for a full $15.00 wash. I wish I knew where he took my car as all roads were dry. Very careless.
My issue with Midas was not a deal breaker but it was highly annoying. I made an appointment for an oil change with the expectation that my car would be serviced in a fairly prompt manner when I arrived. The car was moved to the service bay fairly promptly but after it was hoisted up to drain the oil it sat there for 40 minutes while the mechanic worked on something else. 40 minutes is not a reasonable length of time and showed a lack of respect for my time. Additionally, after my car was finally once again attended to everything happened very fast so it seemed that the various checks that are supposed to be a part of the oil change never happened and there was no report on these checks issued. I come to Midas because over the years I have built up a trust with Midas, I intend to continue to use Midas in the hope that this latest visit was just a bad day but I hope the next time I will receive better service.

Went in for an inspection about my exhaust. Said it would take 5-10 mins. I was in there for well over an hour. Said they could do the work and it would take 2 hours and quoted me $400 dollars in labor for the 2 hours. I was extremely disappointed with the quote and how long the inspection took. Be on time with appointments within 5-15 mins. Also, after muffler and pipe replaced, there was a rattle which they had to fix, adding to my wait time. It was apparent to me when I started the car to leave. Why was it not noticed when they took it for a test drive????
Dropped my car off for 1pm, had another appointment in town at 430pm. I thought the vehicle would be done in roughly two hours as promised by technician. After walking around town for 2.5 hours I returned at 3:30pm (with sore feet and tired). But I was told my vehicle wasnt done and would need another hour. I left and came back at 4:15, vehicle still wasnt done, so I had to cancel my other appointment. Vehicle was done aroune 4:45-5pm. 3.75 hours for swapping new tires onto my rims and an alignment is unacceptable and made me miss my appointment. I dont think they were working on my vehicle the whole time otherwise it wouldve been done sooner.

From the time I entered this location and meeting Rhea on the front desk, the experience was second to none ... pleasant clean surroundings, great talk about the business in general (I used to own a tire shop so I had an understanding of the business), to discussing any issues with Jim (technician), the 45 minutes was well spent with these professionals.
Over priced, lied about service. Had to take vehicle to gm dealership to get reevaluated so no further potential damage. Over charged service to my wife by lying to her about leak in rad. Estimated brake job 400 to 500 dollar over there dealer cost.

I had a positive experience with an oil change with Midas, about a year ago - so I was inclined to bring my muffler problem to Midas. The lady at the front was great - she was professional, business like, and very communicative. The mechanic showed me the challenge and how ti fix it. The estimated price was what I paid. The repair was done when they said it was going to be done. Great on all levels.
They got me tire serviced/replaced while another local shop did not have the time for me. Shop was comfortable with free coffee and wifi plus staff were friendly. I cannot comment on pricing since I don't have comparisons but snow tires are expensive. They offered retorque service at 100 klms. I would use them if I was in Collingwood. Otherwise if I'm back in my hometown Mississauga which is two hours away, I would still use my regular mechanic

Slight delay between when I dropped off the car and when it began to be repaired, meant I had to do my work on the Midas wifi for longer than anticipated when I could have just waited at the office. But I understand it was because I was squeezed in and they were evidently busy already.

Appt scheduled for 1 pm. I told them I'd be back at 3pm and when I arrived it was still up on the hoist. The gentleman on the desk checked with the mechanic and said it would be another 10 min. and then disappeared. The reception desk remained empty for about 20 min and then various employees went in and out taking phone calls and interacting with anew client. At 4:10 pm I saw that my car was parked in the lot and waited to speak to the receptionist. She was in training and trying very hard to deal with the computer and the phone more or less on her own. Finally, the gent I originally spoke to walked in and was surprised I was still there. It wasn't long after that, that I was able to leave. Apologies were offered as I was leaving, but I wonder why they were as busy as the last time I was there. Taking on too many appts in a day perhaps.

When I drove the car away, it was making a noise and one of the owners got it looked at and taken care of right away.
The check in process was wonderful. One place I called said they could not even take it for a week. Midas said they would at least look at it that day. It was a large job and they kept me informed on price and timing. I had some online bank issues when picking up the car and all the staff went above and beyond in their kindness, patience and assistance.
Communication is needed and to actually fix what I paid for 1700$ and the part isn’t fixed properly
There is a guard on the bottom of the engine which was removed and because of the age the bolts were broken because of rust. Which I get but when reinstalled only partially put back and secured which I told them. They said they would re attach with tie straps which it's still half attached after going back. So I will attach myself.
Honor your scheduling commitments. Follow up with your clients when you can't honor your commitments. Stop overcharging. My exhaust was charged to me at $550.00. I could have bought it at Napa parts for $350.00. I feel feel cheated and lied to.

My appt had not registered in the Midas system but I did receive the service. Along with my summer tires being put on, I also wanted a spring tune up and was very confused with the pricing between an oil change and no oil change. I didn't think I needed an oil change, but was told it had more to do with timing than kms. I also found keying in my service items took a very long time.
Was having some issues with my car, was able to get an appointment fast. Appointment was smooth, everything was explained in detail regarding my car and what was being done. Inspection was gone over in detail. Further follow up that should occur was explained very well. Overall, great experience and would recommend to friends and family, and will be returning. Nice to have somewhere you can trust.
