Charged once to fix the problem. Problem was misdiagnosed and not fixed. Then charged again to fix the problem for real and not credited for the misdiagnosis from the tech. Then offered a goodwill credit but was not given that on final bill.
This was an emergency- car was towed in. The Glebe Midas team took it from there, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part (starter), and completed repair the same day. This is a GREAT garage!

Over 1000 to replace a muffler and tailpipe with non-stainless parts is insane. Also the labor quote I received for some additional work was just silly.
First time that I needed to change the oil in my car and they charged me $110 for that. After talking to a few people they were all shocked by the pricing and I am very disappointed. I had no ideia that the value for that is no more than $60 in every other places. Even tho I live next door to the establishment, I’ll never go back. Idk if it was only with me or if they charge that much money from everyone else, but I’m never stepping my feet there again sadly.

There was a large price increase for an oil change with no explanation as to why. The breakdown showed that the oil cost was the same however the increase was in the labor. Although the cost was increased (I had the same oil change done months ago at the same location), no additional services was completed. Per the employee, this location does not do tire rotation, engine checks, etc - only the oil change. So what does the cost increase cover if not any of the supposedly complementary additions that other locations provide??

The gentleman explained exactly what they would be doing to recharge my AC. They called before the appointment to let me know that I may not want to wait for my vehicle as they were booked solid. My experience with Midas for this work was positive and efficient.

Great above and beyond service
It’s not Midas’s fault that I chose to let them fix what failed inspection. That’s on me — and to their credit they did fix the problem. But I should have shopped around. I called my usual repair shop after I committed to letting Midas fix it. Midas’s price was about 50% more — $1486 vs $980. Can’t say I’ll do that again.

It was expensive, and 3 days later, the engine broke. Dont know what they did, but I would not return.
The battery was replaced but the buttons and controls on the steering column stopped working immediately afterward. At a follow up visit about the inoperable buttons they were unable to find the source of the problem.
