The best part is the wonderful conversation with Steve it was a pleasant conversation while I waited for my ride. He was honest about pricing, service and we talked about God and Jesus and how great he is! It is not everyday you have a conversation like this unfortunately.
I’ve never had any issue with midas. I’ve been going for over 10 years now. Even the front desk clerk is the same person! He explained everything to detail, even making me aware of an issue going on and if I wanted to continue the service. He did everything swiftly, efficiently and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes!
I made an appointment and the manager called to confirm. He informed me I didn’t need to make an appointment I could just walk in. I got there around 8ish for an oil change and it probably took less then an hour. I waited inside and I could see my cart from the inside so it was nice to see everything they were doing. I had called around to get pricing and Midas was the best especially since they include a brake check, engine check, and tire rotation. Before they did any services I knew exactly what I was going to pay because the manager wrote all of it up and let me know. When it was done I paid exactly what he had showed me! After that, I told a lot of people they should go to Midas!

When I called a couple of days prior, I was very observant with how attentive the person was, how thorough they were with providing me info, how clearly they communicated, & how well they understood my needs. I was a bit surprised that this person not only did very well, in my opinion, but also seemed to do so easily & naturally. Additionally, when I arrived at the location, I paid VERY close attention to the surroundings, interactions with staff & other customers, & employees working behind the glass. Each thing I noticed, I filed away in the back of mind. After watching & listening for about a half hour, I had already made up my mind that this would be my new permanent car care location. I was impressed with each new observation, & I was genuinely looking to see WHAT would be the thing to put me off (because there is ALWAYS something I disapprove of in auto establishments). I found not a single thing that would turn me away. Lastly, another customer & her college freshman daughter was there, & we started to visit while waiting together. She was very complimentary, & the fact that she came in trusting her young daughter's vehicle & safety just cemented what I already felt.

I am new to the Corpus Christi area, moving from Colorado. I experienced an issue with my brakes, not knowing anyone here I google searched and found Midas. I called and the Manager, Steve, was very helpful and expressed caring, willing to help and made an appointment for first thing the next morning. I showed up on time the next morning and having never met Steve, he greeted me by my first name (he saw my Colorado license plate). He had Marco take a look at my brakes and found some issues. I verified the issues and proposed repair by calling my mechanic of 16 years back in Colorado. All verified, I turned my truck over to Steve and Marco. They repaired it within a few hours and within the estimated cost. I was very pleased. Both Steve and Marco explained every detail to me in terms that I could understand. They were great. It's been a week now and I'm very pleased with the repair. To prove that... I still remember their names. I will go to their Midas shop anytime I need work that is within their expertise. I highly recommend them!

First time being at Midas and the staff was so helpful and I was in & out so fast.
Technician calls if there is an issue before doing any work and will let you know if it is something that can wait a little while especially if there is an additional cost.
