I had a new rear brake caliper installed maybe 5-6 months ago (Could be less, don't remember exactly.) It was defective and started leaking fluid. I was not charged for the new part as it was under warranty, but I was charged labor to replace it. I've never heard of charging labor costs on replacing defective parts by the company that installed them in the first place. It seemed very off to me.
