I had interactions with two people while at Midas. A man, possibly the manager greeted and welcomed me with a big smile and quickly scheduled my car for an oil change. He was friendly and certainly made me feel that my business was important. I also had help from a young woman who located my ticket and was very helpful in helping me check out. They were busy that day. I will continue to recommend Midas at the North Rock Road location.
I am not going back so this is moot, but being honest and upfront about what it will cost to do a repair is not negotiable. If you say "can't tell until we do an inspection" is honest. If you say well, it will cost $297.00 for front brake pads before an inspection and $526.00 after the inspection because mandatory ancillary services are included but not initially disclosed until the vehicle is on the repair rack could well be described as "bait and switch or quote and pinch." Take your pick. Both are unacceptable.

I’m a nurse and I see the same thing at the hospital. It’s obvious that you didn’t have the amount of help you needed for the amount of work you took in. It puts the mechanics in a bad situation and things get missed and rushed.

Midas on Rock Road in Wichita, KS is my preferred service provider although I live in Dallas, TX now. I made a service appointment for Saturday while visiting with friends. One would think this location’s manager, Michael, was the owner. He is so invested in the customer and is always so pleasant and knowledgeable. He explains everything, in advance, and sets the expectation. No surprises! Never disappointed. Highly recommended!
If you are busy, stop making appointments until you get caught up. This has happened before to me years ago so I stopped visiting for about 5 years. A waste of my time and my oil change still not done. I do not plan to return here ever for any of our househokds 4 vehicles and have used them a lot over 22 years since we live within 3 miles from the store.

I arrived at the dealership late afternoon about an hour before they were to close down. They took me all handled it first class was able to get the part that was needed and performed above and beyond what I was expecting as I did not know if they would be able to work all of that before they close I was very pleased with their professionalism and how they made Lee take over and made sure that my problem was solved in order to part to get it done. I was not expecting service that good and yet that day even though there wasn’t much time left they were above and beyond what was expected Adam Walters and the mechanic were great to deal with

I called Saturday after a belt broke on my car. When I called they didn’t have anything available. Some how they managed to get me in @ 1:00 the same day with my repairs done in a couple of hours. Michael was very kind and courteous. For example, he took me out to the car to look underneath and discussed the state of the entire vehicle, not just the key issue. Afterward, I realized I left something in the glove box. He brought the car down from the lift and allowed me to retrieve it and was glad to do so. While I was away, Michael called to give me an update and request approval to do additional work that was needed to fix the issue, providing an update to the estimated pricing. The 2011 Nissan appeared to have been in an unreported accident, as I had suspected soon after purchase in 2014. While a wheel bearing was originally suspected, the entire drive shaft needed to be replaced. I was not surprised. Midas was the first in a decade to find and address the issue. I had requested help from numerous mechanics in the past and was never believed. I had not even mentioned it to Midas. They found and fixed the problem based on a noise complaint. Others told me to replace the transmission. I knew better, just needed the help. I am returning shortly for an oil change and additional maintenance. My mom is going to begin using Midas as well. We were quite impressed!

It took like a week to get the vehicle back and what I understood it be done the next day. But am happy with the service
They got me in last minute for a radiator replacement. They ensured it was completely safe and ready for me before I left and the problem resolved after they fixed it. I waited in the lobby with my 3 young kids for the whole time and they were so kind and patient, even let me turn on cartoons.

Went in for an alignment and it was discovered that we needed a wheel bearing replaced. They took care of all the repairs in a matter of two hours. Only downside your labor rates are to high.

I don't have any mechanical knowledge. My car's engine temperature warning light came on due to a bleeder hose leakage. The total cost of the repair was $1338.78, with $437 for parts and $757 for labor. Although the labor cost was higher than the cost of the parts.This is the first time I have encountered a situation where the cost of labor is higher than the cost of parts.

The main issue I had was when I was checking in. The associate that checked me in really needs some customer service training. He is rude and did not ask me anything or explain anything to me. He was demanding and rude! I was not going to let him check me out if he was the one to do so. The other guy was amazing and kept me informed through the whole process.

They was trying to get me to purchase things I did not need done at the moment. I talked to my brother who has his own shop in Alabama and he let me know they were trying to over sale me on items . When I let the team member know what my brother's opinion was on what I really needed done at this time they agreed with him .

Took 1.5 hour to complete oil change. Recommended upsale items would have cost $1400 but could be done in a hour. Doesn’t seem right.

You over charged for labor. The guy only worked on my car for 45 minutes but got charged for the 3 1/2 hrs. He was working on other cars while my car just sat. Service is good the labor charge is not fair.

I saw that they didn't torque my lug nuts down to the right pounds and only used their air gun to tighten lugs on. Alisa said that's the way they do it. I'm going to take car to have the lugs redone at dealership. Over tightening of lugs can put stress on the lugs and since I travel with the car all over the country, I don't want any problems. Other than that I was very satisfied.

The technician broke the handle off the oil dipstick and noted it on the invoice. However, this was not brought to our attention at the time. I noticed it on the invoice the next day and contacted the store. Through email they said the type of dipstick on our car is poorly made and they see breaks all the time, and offered to replace it for a price. This would require removing the dipstick tube. I asked why they didn't tell me about it and asked how much to replace it, but they never responded. I refused to follow up further and will either replace the dipstick myself or have someone else do it. Had they mentioned it at the time I could have had it fixed right then. However, I'm now 750 miles away from the car (my son's) and unable to fix it at the moment. Very disappointed!

I’ve been bringing my fleet of vehicles to mitis for almost a year now, I couldn’t be happier. Robert, the store manager is a great communicator make sure his team gets the job done promptly. I’ve already recommended a few other fleet owners to use our local motors for vehicle repairs.

We have used this Midas in the past to complete work on our hotel shuttle and when our tire went flat, I knew exactly who to call. I called them up Hoping that they would be able to come and take the tire off on our property, take it back to the shop, swap the tire out and bring it back and put on the vehicle. I would have totally understood if they would have told us no, but without hesitation, they said, yes, absolutely, and were at our facility within 10 minutes. It was a very hands-free process which allows us to keep running the hotel without missing a beat, I appreciate you guys going above and beyond for us..

Make sure price quoted was for correct part. The part quoted did not fit and part that did was about $5oo.. higher. Was allowed to find part on my own and shop installed it for me. I had car towed to shop, so really didn't want to have it towed again.

Beyond control, but pricing was the reason.
Tire stem caps were left off. Had to go back for them. Did not receive a report on the inspection that was said to be done.
Found a cotter pin not installed properly. Informed them on the return trip and still didn’t get fixed. I had to fix it myself at home.
They were friendly and they told me what they changed in my headlight and gave me a discount since they only did a few to it and there wasn’t a lot to do with changing in my headlight.
I have used this location for several years and have always been treated well, I trust them and continue to be happy.
For starters the problem that seems to have been resolved is worse than when I took the car in and now my car is leaking antifreeze when I brought the car in that was not even an issue. I had to call in to work today because the car was leaking antifreeze away from home after I left the Midas shop!
I came in for a Oil Change, I had a coupon that included tire rotation. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to get me right in. The young man that was working on my car came in told me that I needed a filter I told him to go ahead and take care of it. He explained what I should have taken care of on my next visit. I then remembered that I had a flat tire in the trunk. They were able to take care of that too. My experience was a great one, I will gladly bring my car into Midas again. Thank you.

Cost was much higher than other Midas’ as well as other non-Midas facilities.
I had a free brake check, which was very thorough, and indicated brakes were not needed at this time. The pads had sufficient pad left. I did not need anything else, and they informed me I owed nothing. I appreciated their honesty and have found that to be true with them in the past. When needed I will definitely return to have work done.

I had a warranty issue. Brought in and they had to order it. Told would have it that Wednesday, got a call Friday saying they got the part. Then was the wrong part. So had to order again. Then when they finally got the next part I worked out that I would drop it off Sunday night so they could do the work Monday. I called them after work (5:30p) Monday and they was not aware it was there. Didn’t get my Jeep back till Tuesday after work.

I showed up at the location around 6:10pm, not knowing they closed at 6pm. I needed a new battery for my Jeep Cherokee and I was fairly desperate. Even though they were already closed, they offered to stay and put a battery in my car. They were all very nice about it.

This was my first time getting my oil changed on my own, I was in a time crunch and trying to find a good place to service me quickly! When scheduling my appointment they gave me their soonest availability. When I came in they went over my options with me without pressuring me into buying the most expensive package they even told me about their coupon they had going on. They also came to inform me about a few lights being out on my car and looked up how much it would cost for me to buy them next door at auto zone. All in all I had a wonderful experience!

Midas didn’t complete the service but it wasn’t their fault. Stevens VW claimed there was no part for FIVE WEEKS, but one magically appeared the very morning I took my car to their shop. They claimed they got the part that morning even though I was told the night before they had the part…and it’s the same part Midas ordered. My anger is towards Stevens VW and I let them know it. I’ve had trouble with them before and I don’t trust them. Good work guys. I will always prefer you over them. Thanks.

The location was having something done to the roof and there was "ceiling" all over the bays on the ground and all over a chair in the waiting room. The guy who changed my oil left my seat position how he changed it and left greasy fingerprints all over the door of my truck. Just didn't feel comfortable there. Will probably seek another location or business with a cleaner waiting room and employee protocol.
Ron and the rest of the team there is amazing. They do such great work and are so nice. If I have a question about anything they will break it down till I understand. I’m not a car person and usually shops will take advantage of that. They don’t with me. I now only trust them with my car. My car only goes there if it needs anything.

The technician missed the fact the backplate was to be installed before the hub. He pressed the hub in and then realized he was missing the backplate. The bearing is ruined if the hub is removed.
Communicate a little better with customers. I got talked into buying the two to three-year package on wheel alignments and if I go and every time I don’t need a wheel alignment is going to seem suspicious.

Everything went well I was able to get this done in a timely manner. The communication on what was done and the place was clean and presentable for an auto shop.
Schedule a appointment to have a wire harness put in. Told me to bring it in, and drop it off. Then later was told they would have to order it and would take an additional 3 days. Then when they got it the second time. Was told it would take all day to run the wiring. From what I seen this process should have taken just a couple hours, but in fact I dropped it off the night before and did not get it back till closing the next day.

Mechanic takes truck for a test drive, comes back and notifies the manager that the rear brakes were smoking. Manager goes out to check the truck out and comes notifying me of the problem and tell me thaat something is sticking and that I needed to get checked out ASAP because it is dangerous. I step into the truck, start it up and noticed that the EMERGENCY BRAKE was engaged this whole time that it was being test driven. So yes the rear brake WILL SMOKE. Told the manager and he just said he was sorry about it.

We were charged for a service that we did not request and was not necessary. We were not asked to okay the work prior to it being done.
Front desk CSR was nice. The technician however apparently thought it was alright to lie about my tire rotation. He reset my tire maintenance light and changed the oil. He didn’t think I was smart enough to know he didn’t do what was paid for. Problem with that I have a center piece on my wheels that doesn’t remove when taking the tire off and it was still in the same spot as it was when the tech said he preformed said services that were on the work order and My receipt. No, he reset the light and didn’t do his job. I know my car, and by no means am I ignorant when it comes to vehicles. Shame on y’all for thinking I wouldn’t notice. That tech shouldn’t have a job, and the fact I had to come back a second time to have it actually done is ridiculous. So two trips to complete very basic maintenance.
Lock car when done and placing it out side. Dont put old broken part leaking fluid in a box and put on uphostered seat. Dont break side mirror.
