Took the truck in for tire rotation and the monitors on the passenger side was not reset. Took the truck in later for a screw in the tire. Also brought up the fact of the mismatched TMPS is off. They fixed the passenger side then messed up the drivers side. They charged me 35.00 to fix their mistake. The screw in the tire did not need to be fixed, but the guy working on it, kept putting his tools on my truck. My wife's equinox went in for an oil change the guy guy did not put oil in the oil filter and torqued the heck out of the drain plug and oil filter. What happened to this place? Been a customer their for a very long time.
I came in for an oil change with a mailer coupon, and they completed the work very quickly. They provided clear reasons for their other service recommendations, and didn't pressure me to make any decisions.

I had a shifter selector cable replaced. Less than 12 hours later it is broken again.
The initial discussion suggested replacing the main cylinder to fix the brakes. Did not fix them rather it was suggested to go to a dealership. Just disheartened to spend $780 and have not much change
I had an appointment at 5 PM to have caliper covers installed on my wife’s 2023 Acura. I arrived at 4:45 and sat in the lobby for an hour before they finally got my car in and told me it was going to take too long to install the covers and they closed at 6. The technician really didn’t know what he was doing and was more interested in leaving at 6 instead of taking care of a customer who had already waited an hour. If they would have gotten me in at the scheduled time, I’m sure they would have been able to complete the job. I have since had the covers installed at another shop and it took them 30 minutes to do all 4. I doubt whether I will visit Midas again due to this poor service experience.
I would have like metallic brakes and I thought that almost $800 in parts & 1200.00 in labor just seemed highly inflated to me for what was done

This was my first time using Midas. I always shop around and Midas had the best price for a synthetic oil change. I got in when I wanted and waited while the oil was being changed. I made an appointment for an oil change at 1300CT. Upon arriving at 1445CT it took a bit to drop keys off and sign in. I said I would wait in the lobby and they said that it should be 45min till I could go and I said cool. Approximately 90 minutes later they hadn't even pulled my car into the shop and most of the time I watch them stand around and talk as the bosses were in a meeting in the back. I asked for my keys back at 1445CT without an oil change and chose a different shop to do my services at. The employees didn't seemed phased I wanted my keys and never asked why I needed them etc. First time attempting to go to Midas and if it's like this across the country I'm not sure if I'll go back.
Natalia was amazing- everything was done quickly. The one issue that I had was explained well- and even though I had an issue I didn't feel an over abundance of pressure to get it fixed right then. It was explained and the decision was left for me to decide what to do.

Initially, I was told that something was wrong with the power steering pump. However, after the master mechanic took a look at it, they decided that the power steering pump wasn’t an issue that oil was leaking on it from somewhere else. He was able to save me from having to pay for that repair.

The pricing was very good. The people I talk to about my car was highly professional, they told me what was wrong and what needed to be changed and even called me back a few times to say that some thing's did not need to be done.
I scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation. Thankfully I was sitting there watching and when they brought the vehicle out, I asked the technician if he had did a tire rotation and he said no he didn’t realize that he was supposed to. He then brought it back in and completed the rotation. It was written on the work invoice that it the car was to have an oil change and tire rotation. If I hadn’t been watching, I wouldn’t have known that it wasn’t done.
I got lucky. I called and made an appointment for first thing in the morning but when I got there they said I wasn't scheduled. If they were really booked and couldn't service me, I would have been upset but they got to me right away. Future wise, it appears getting in early is best or you could run into some issues

I never been to Midas before. And the reviews for Midas didn’t look good, but i though I would give them a try. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. Was helped, and given 3 options for pricing. The person helping me walked me through every pricing. After that they pulled my car into the garage and did a full look over at my car and took me out to my car and showed me what was wrong. They gave me a sheet that broke down all the pricing for the new parts I’d needed. It was expensive and they gave me empathy, and told me which one I should save up for first. They were polite and nice and I was there for about an hour. Great customer service.
The manager Jay was extremely communicative & helpful even tho he was busy! Took extra time to check my light switch too with other courtesy checks👍I have never been to Midas but I will be back!

It was overall a great service. Everyone was professional. The only complaint I had was they didn't have the part on hand when I brought my vehicle in a week before and had scheduled it for today to get fix. It took at least an hour to get the part from Napa even tho they knew they needed it. I scheduled my work today around my repair and they said it would take only a hour but took double. But overall good service. Just didn't expect to waste another hour.

Make sure that if a customer asks for something to be done on a vehicle. That the item that they are asking to be fixed be fixed and not give excuses as to why they do not want to fix it.
Why do I need to be highly satisfied?
I felt they were very respectful of me and did not speak down to me at all. The communication was very clear, and the issues they found were well articulated to me. They helped me to save money and did a very comprehensive check for any issues associated with the care. I felt very safe when I spoke with the associates and felt confident in driving my car away and that the issues had been handled.
My customer service was extremely exceptional.
Needed the truck day of, got it back 3.5 days later. Service guy lied to techs saying they had several days when I told him I needed it done day of and he said they could do it. Never got followup calls or notified when it was done. had to hunt down answers including when the truck was done. It was done several hours before I checked in and found it was done. Blew the whole trip waiting on you to get parts when another garage down the road had them in stock. Wtf.
The employees are kind, hospitality and understanding.

i'm a young woman who knows absolutely nothing about cars. getting work done on my van is always a gamble because it's easy to get overcharged or otherwise swindled. the folks working at midas explained everything to me in a way that made me feel confident that they were taking good care of me, not overcharging me, etc. also, having a female mechanic always makes me feel especially reassured.
reasonable price for service
Was on a road trip and got an engine light and lost ability to do cruise control. Went in around 4PM and they were able to troubleshoot that it was a timing solenoid and got it fixed in about 2.5 hrs to get us back out on the road! It was very stressful for me and my family, but the guy at the counter was super nice, chatted with us while we waited and worked hard to get us fixed up and out as fast as possible. Great experience for a bad situation!

I had a scheduled appointment for 2 hours and the one part that needed changed should have only taken that amount of time. I was quoted $75 (approx) for 2 hours work. I drove by almost an hour after my car had been dropped off and no one had started working on it. I called to check on my car to get a timeframe for when it would be completed and they said an hour. They called me 1 and a half hours later (after they closed) and said it was going to take longer. I took it back a week later (without and appointment) and the part got changed in an hour. And I was charged $175 (they took $50 off for my inconvenience). Today (one day after getting the part replaced) my car is having the same problem. I am very dissatisfied and will now have to take my car to a dealership to get fixed.

We were traveling through Des Moines. Our car suddenly lost its antifreeze. We were stranded at a parking lot at 4:30 pm om a Friday. Midas was open on a Saturday to look at our car. Austin was very helpful, gave us contact info for the towing company. Car was towed Friday evening, and Midas checked out and fixed our car on Saturday. All dealerships and other repair shops could not look at our car until the following Tuesday or much later. Austin was great, and fit us in his schedule with no notice.
Do throughou check to make sure coolant systems are bleed completely. Do not forget engine oil after has been drained.

Stopped in without an appointment but was waited on immediately. Thought I needed a new battery but turns out it was only the battery cable. Was replaced immediately and I was on my way. The attendant was very honest with me as to the problem when quise frankly they could have replaced the entire battery and I wouldn't have known the difference. I more than appreciated this.
I used the coupon/deal from the website for a 24.99 oil change and tire rotation. However, my vehicle uses 6 qt of oil instead of 5, so instead of $25 oil change and tire rotation, I was charged $87 and no tire rotation was performed. I didn't realize a single quart of oil was so expensive. Does that seem like the appropriate way to charge for 1 additional quart of bulk oil? If I had known there was such a difference in price, I would have had them just add 5 quarts of oil and I would have driven down the street and bought the additional quart at a gas station for $7. Or, I would have brought a quart with me to add on-site. Or, more likely I would have gone somewhere else.
I bought one tire and asked them to order the other 3 tires because I couldn't leave the car right then. That is a total of 4 tires. They wouldn't let me use the $100 off 4 tires coupon. I have spent $15,000 + on all my vehicle over the last several years, and I couldn't have this. That is horrible customer service and I don't think that I will be coming back. Your company will be losing thousands of dollars instead of a hundred when I don't come back I am very upset!

Dropped vehicle off & they called me when it was done. I checked to make sure they had set the mileage indicatror back, that they had done what was on the ticket as I had tire marked to make sure they did as they said only if needed.
I was quoted around $500 and ended up paying twice that. A bit outrageous.
