Adam and his colleague were very helpful! Even though I did not have an appointment they got me in and immediately started inspecting the vehicle and identified the issue. they were clear about how long it was going to take and even when there was a delay in the part they kept me well informed. The work was expensive and they tried their best to provide me with discounts for savings. Kudos to the team!

My oil change: 11/12/22-$76.22, then 4/3/23-$68.36, and then 7/13/23-$98.73. I'm charged double for labor. Midas fees are inconsistent and randomly charge double for labor. Adam said due to inflation, cost for parts has gone up, however, including the increase cost for parts, he charges me 3 times more for labor. Adam stated that the owner of the shop sometimes doesn't even honor their own promotional coupons. This shop seems to run their business like bunch of crooks -- shady, cheesy, and unprofessional. Definitely not shop that I would recommend to people.
In the past, when having Midas do an oil change, I also received a checklist of items they had checked and the results. I didn't realize until I was home that there was no checklist. If you have discontinued this list, i am greatly disappointed. I am hoping this was just an oversight by the staff. I found the list to be very helpful and it encouraged me to use Midas more - not less. If you have discontinued this communication to customers, please from it back. If not, please coach the associates at the Wheaton MD location to ensure they include this list in future
The employee I spoke to, Adam, was very transparent and helpful from start to finish. I first called before coming down and he helped ease my worries about timing. He was very honest with the work needed and offered solutions to the problems. I loved the candidness and thoughtfulness of him.

I came in for an oil change and wiper blades; both were done expediently. Leaking rear shocks were noticed when the car was lifted, and I was told of this. I asked for them to be replaced, and all of the cars maintenance plus two new shocks were done in two hours.

2nd time for an oil change with Midas. Last time was told I should have tires rotated with next oil change. I asked for a rotation. I was told that it wasn't needed, but I am not clear why that was. So I am left with wondering why my tires were not rotated and why that was. On the other hand, I greatly appreciate a company that will not charge me for work that is not needed. A better explanation would have been helpful.The other thing that was annoying for a person waiting: no table in the waiting area. The waiting area is very sparse (moreso than last year). It is clean but just not comfortable. I was disappointed not to find a coupon for my oil change (looked for some time) Perhaps it is the general disruption economy that has led you to stop coupons? I will go back to Midas. I'm just disappointed that is it not what I have come to expect from the firm.
My issue is that one of my battery terminal bolts was missing after service. I didn't see this until I got home.
It was a straightforward process, easy to get to. They checked my tires and brakes and thought they didn't need any work. I was thinking they might try to sell tires but mine are still probably ok for a couple years and they agreed.
